Robbie, an extremely talented fabricator, graduated from Texas Tech in 1996 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to work for Drinan Racing Products as fabricator and crew chief for Ryan Newman’s #39 MCI midget. Following his stint at Drinan, Ott was employed by Sinden Racing Service (SRS) as a fabricator. In 2003, Robbie was hired by Target Chip Ganassi Racing as a fabricator, where he went on to work until 2006.

Ott Returned to SRS as Fab Shop Manager at the end of 2006, followed by a brief term at Brantley Precision Works, fabricating vintage racecars. We are very excited to welcome Robbie to the Sarah Fisher Racing family. Away from the track, Robbie enjoys spending time with his family. Robbie resides on the Westside of Indianapolis with his wife, Teddy, and their two children, Emily and Leland.
