
Wayne SelmanTransportation Manager
| A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wayne graduated from Del Norte High School in 1974. Following high school, Selman raced motorcycles around US flat tracks. In 1982 he moved to California to race Speedway bikes. After a 10 year stay in California, Wayne moved back to New Mexico to work for Galles Racing. In 1996, the motorcycle enthusiast moved to Indianapolis to work for Cheever Racing, followed by ISM Racing with Jeff Ward. Selman was hired by PacWest Racing in 2000, where he spent a couple of seasons before moving to Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, where he spent over eight years. Selman worked with many fellow Sarah Fisher Racing (SFR) employees at Dreyer & Reinbold, and decided to join them here at SFR in the fall of 2009. Away from the track, Wayne enjoys riding his motorcycle, driving his hotrod, and spending time with his wife, Valerie, his two sons, Cody and Chase, and his wiener dogs, Klotz and Ethel. |
