Josef Newgarden: #AskJosef Answered
SFHR launched a twitter campaign with its rookie driver Josef Newgarden called #AskJosef after the 2012 Mid-Ohio race. SFHR and Josef Newgarden fans were asked to tweet questions for the 21-year-old rookie driver with the #AskJosef hashtag.
Josef received questions ranging from his on-track performance to his love for all things Batman. Scroll through Josef’s answers below:
Favorite restaurant in Nashville? #AskJosef
Josef: Kobe Steakhouse. It’s a hibachi grill, great Japanese food.
Who is your favorite Batman villain? #AskJosef
Josef: The Joker. I thought heath ledger did a phenomenal job playing him in The Dark Knight.
Of all the actors to have tackled the role, who is your favorite Batman? #AskJosef
Josef: Christian Bale for sure. That whole trilogy was the best Batman series yet.
From t_swihart: What was your favorite moment from Indy this year? #AskJosef
Josef: The driver intros were probably the coolest part. It’s incredible to be introduced in front of 300K people.
Have you ever been to local races at the Nashville Fairgrounds? Wanna try a stock car there? #AskJosef
Josef: I’ve been to one race there and it’s pretty cool. They have a great speedway there that people have been trying to tear down. I hope it stays for years to come. And you never know, I wouldn’t mind trying a stock car there.
Josef: Chipotle would be incredible as a sponsor, and I would eat there every day. When I eat there I get a burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, chicken and plenty of guacamole.
Josef: 2013 will be the ideal year for that.
Josef: Never speak of the gnomes.
If you couldn’t race for a living, what would you do? #AskJosef
Josef: I’d probably either be a triathlete or stock broker.
